When your home security system or home alarm is triggered, it will send a signal to an ADT secured monitoring center.

ADT Security monitoring center operators immediately attempt to verify the alarm is an actual emergency through a phone call to your premises.

If they are unable to confirm the home security alarm was triggered unintentionally, ADT dispatch operators will then notify the appropriate agency of an alarm at the exact address.

The responding agency, typically sheriff, police, firefighters, or paramedics then dispatch authorities to the location.
